Artist-in-residence
program

The Hub regularly hosts artists-in-residence who enjoy access to the Hub’s shared spaces, equipment and facilities in return for engaging the community in a range of free activities. At the end of their rotation, our artists-in-residence share what they have created through a mix of Artist Talks, exhibitions and interactive activities.

Express your interest in becoming an artist-in-residence at hello@inglewoodartshub.org

Artist Talks

Every two months, a local or visiting artist will share their experience in the arts. Artist Talks include a mix of presentations, demonstrations and Q&A sessions.

Typically followed by conversations between artists and participants over food and drink, this is a wonderful way to get to know others interested in the arts and explore how you might want to get involved.

Check out our calendar of activities for what’s coming up.

Community art projects

From making large scale pieces through to ‘call and response’ projects, the Hub provides pathways for the community and artists to create exciting projects together.

We encourage you to get in touch if you have an idea to make a reality.

'Let's talk art'

Creating art can often be a solo practice so it’s important artists have the chance to come together to catch up in an easy, social way. The Inglewood Arts Hub offers weekly social gatherings in the Arts Studio for artists to enjoy a cup of tea and a chat.

Exhibitions & art for sale

Artworks created in the Hub and by locals nearby can be exhibited in and purchased from the Hub with an affordable commission fee of only 10%.

Pieces are regularly displayed in the Arts Studio and can be purchased upon request while larger exhibitions are periodically hosted in the Main Hall and other spaces, and promoted via Hub channels.

What we offer

  • Open Monday - Friday: 10am - 4pm

  • Weeknights and weekends by appointment
