PAULINE ROBERTS ARTIST IN RESIDENCE OCT 23 - MARCH 24
We would like to extend a huge welcome to Pauline Roberts, Artist in Residence at the Hub for Term 4.
Pauline Roberts is a visual artist based in Perth, Western Australia. Her work focuses on the memory of landscape, a sense of place, and the atmosphere it evokes. The notion of otherworldly and imaginary worlds are themes she explores. With both acrylics and oils, she uses layers of paint and a vibrant colour palette. Her connection to nature and the natural landscape is an intrinsic part of her work.
Pauline is very excited to be part of the Inglewood Arts Hub as an Artist in Residence. She is looking forward to the relationship with the community through an Artist Talk, connecting to place and exploring the natural urban environment through her work.
Pauline has a Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) from Curtin University. She has had exhibitions at Curtin University for the Art Degree Show Graduate Exhibition and the Tangent Gallery. Also has exhibited at Intoo Studios, Paper Mountain, Ellis House Community Centre and the Joondalup Community Art Exhibition. She had an Open Studio, with Artsource WA at Old Customs House in Fremantle, was an online finalist with Lethbridge Small Scale Art Award QLD, and is currently a finalist for the Ellenbrook Art Award.
