In 1992 Graham Hay arrived in WA with just a motorbike and $18 in debt to the Indian Pacific, yet has gone on to become an internationally recognised pioneer and leader in an art movement upending hundreds of years of art tradition. He has participated in 170 exhibitions in 16 countries (including seven biennales), and is in public collections in eight countries.
Graham will give a quick demonstration of speed sculpturing in paper clay and an open-ended discussion on everything they don’t tell you in art school.
